Welcome to Seventh Grade Math

Dear Seventh Grade students and parents, 

I hope that you have had a wonderful summer full of fun with family and friends! I wanted to take a moment to welcome you to Jacksonville Middle School. My name is Mr. Kiener and I am excited to serve as your seventh grade Math teacher this year.

This means a couple of things. First, although results are especially important, the journey that we take along the way as we stretch our thinking, grow in character, and contribute to one another is just as important as that end goal. Secondly, if you do your part as well as utilize the tools and support your parents and your teachers offer to you throughout the year you can and will be a person of immense value here at JMS! 

 
Seventh grade is a crucial time in your social and academic growth. We will take steps together working towards your success as you explore middle school and prepare for your future. I look forward to working with you and your family as we Strive and Thrive together toward the best school year yet!
