Welcome to Mr. Leahy's 8th grade math lab class,
My name is Jarrett Leahy and I am an 8th grade math teacher here at Jacksonville Middle School. I am a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and a Masters in Education from New Mexico State University. This is my third year teaching at Jacksonville Middle school, the previous two years were spent teaching 7th grade math. Prior to being hired by J.I.S.D., I was an adjunct professor and assistant baseball coach at Lon Morris College.
I have mandatory tutorials on Tuesday afternoons for a select group of students, and I offer individualized tutorials on Thursday afternoons from 3:45-4:30pm for students who set up an appointment with me. My conference period is from 1:55-2:40pm, if you need to get in touch with me, I can reached fastest through my JISD email listed down below. Our classroom is a proud supporter of my alma mater, New Mexico State University, located in Las Cruces, NM.
