My name is Alec Tatum, and I will be teaching 8th grade U.S. History at Jacksonville Middle School. This is my 2nd year at Jacksonville Middle School and my 8th year of teaching overall. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration with a degree in Finance from Texas A&M University and earned my teaching certificate from Letourneau University.  Our classroom has adopted Notre Dame as our No Excuses University.

 

My class schedule is as follows:

1st Period 7:50-8:38

2nd Period 8:42-9:38 

3rd Period 9:42-10:30

4th Period 10:34-12:03 (conference Period)

5th Period 12:07-12:55 

6th Period 12:59-1:47

7th Period 1:51-2:39

8th Period 2:43-3:35 (teacher meetings and PLC designated time)

 

My tutorial period is on Tuesdays after school from 3:35 -4:15. I am usually here on most days until after 4:00, and so if tutoring is necessary on a different day, please let me know, and I will make arrangements.
