Jacksonville Middle School is a two-year public school serving students in grades 7–8 in Jacksonville, Texas. The school is accredited by the Texas Education Agency, and the Southern Association of Secondary Schools. As part of Jacksonville ISD — a recognized District of Innovation — JMS offers a wide range of opportunities for students, including advanced academics, fine arts, electives, and clubs. We are proud to be the Home of the Braves and Maidens!

We are proud of the Downtown Historic Tomato Bowl, located at the end of Commerce Street on Austin Street in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. One of the last remaining downtown stadiums in Texas, the Tomato Bowl has a rich 75+ year long history. Our stadium was recently voted the Best High School Stadium in Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football.
